Dismantle, assemble & install machinery and Equipments and test for accuracy
Plan and carry out maintenance in machinery & Equipments
Write programmes and test on simulation software
Overhauling of pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, and hydraulic & pneumatic equipments
Use Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to build an interface with other devices
Good communication skills

Proficiency in safety regulations and best practices at the workplace
In-depth knowledge in fault finding & analysis
Know-how about maintenance of equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and find solutions to operating errors in machines
Know-how on installation, erection, foundation, and geometrical testing of Equipments & machinery

Workshop assistant in government ITIs and Engineering institutions
State & Central government organizations like railways, Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), ONGC, and atomic power stations etc.
Automobile sector based jobs in Renault, Nissan, Ford, and Hyundai
Micro, small and medium scale Industries

Apprenticeship (National apprenticeship certificate)
Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) to become an instructor in ITIs
Diploma course in notified branches of engineering by lateral entry (Full time/Part time)
Advanced Diploma (Vocational) courses under Directorate General of Training (DGT) as applicable
Special short-term courses conducted by NSTI
