Skills taught in ITI

  • Ability to handle all types of drawing instruments & equipment
  • Draw scales, dimensions, and sectional views
  • Screw threads, bolts, nuts, foundation bolts, and locking devices
  • Draw gears, cams, valves, pipe joints, and engine parts
  • Sheet metal works, and automobile trades (As Allied Trade)
  • Use measuring instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, and quality control instruments or gauges
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Drawing in AutoCAD-2D (Computer-aided design - 2D) & 3D, 3D Modelling and Solid Works Software

  • Convert isometric drawings to orthographic drawings
  • Convert detail drawings to assemble drawings
  • Knowledge of BSI (British Standards Institution) standards in all partial drawings
  • Knowledge of MS Office
