DET - ITI Admission

Basic fitting operations including marking, hacksawing, chiseling, filing, drilling, and threading, along with joining electrical wires by soldering and crimping, constructing electrical and magnetic circuits, and assembling wiring and earthing systems.
Commissioning, testing, and maintaining AC and DC motors, transformers, synchronous motors, induction motors, and alternators, measuring electrical parameters using analog and digital instruments, and erecting overhead distribution lines.
Installing and checking gear boxes, brakes, dynamometers, clutches, bearings, and lubrication systems, applying hydraulic parameters, selecting electronic components, and constructing circuits using microcontroller 8051.
Assembling wind turbine generator and gear components, operating hydraulic equipment, demonstrating rotor blade aerodynamics, measuring wind energy using sensors, performing wind data collection and analysis, and installing and commissioning wind turbines in working wind farms.

Ability to install electrical components of wind power plants, carry out testing of transformers, switchgear, and protection devices, and ensure effective functioning of installed wind power systems.
Proficiency in manufacturing wind turbine components including blades, sensors, SCADA systems, servomotors, anemometers, and control systems with quality checking, testing, and finishing operations.
Competence in operation and maintenance of wind farms, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components of wind turbines, replacing defective components, and reconditioning worn-out parts and structures.
Skills in developing, erecting, installing, and commissioning wind turbine projects, coordinating logistics, data analysis, electrical and construction works, and monitoring project completion at wind farm sites.

Can work as a Wind Power Plant Installation Technician in wind energy companies, EPC contractors, and renewable energy firms handling electrical component installation in wind turbine projects.
Can find employment as a Wind Power Plant Maintenance Technician in wind farms and power generation companies handling testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wind turbine electrical systems.
Can join wind turbine manufacturing companies as a Manufacturing Technician producing blades, SCADA systems, control equipment, anemometers, and support structures for wind energy industry.
Can work as a Service Technician or Project Developer Assistant in wind energy companies handling operation, maintenance, commissioning, logistics coordination, and project monitoring at wind farm sites.

Can pursue a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from recognized institutions to qualify for senior technical and engineering roles in wind energy sector.
Can join the Crafts Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) to become a certified ITI instructor in the Wind Plant Technician trade after gaining required industry experience and height-work competency.
Can obtain specialized certifications in wind turbine technology, GWO Basic Safety Training, or SCADA systems for wind farms to meet global wind energy industry safety and technical standards.
Can pursue advanced training in offshore wind technology, grid integration of renewable energy, energy storage systems, or wind resource assessment to advance into project engineering and management roles.
