Industrial internet of things (IIoT) technician

Skills taught in ITI

  • Handling electronic instruments, identifying electrical and electronic components, demonstrating PCB characteristics, using digital and analog sensors, and programming basic C and Python instructions for IIoT applications.
  • Interfacing microcontrollers like Arduino with sensors, actuators, and communication modules, programming Raspberry Pi, applying network protocols, cloud integration, and developing mobile and web applications for IIoT.
  • Exploring edge devices, gateways, Wi-Fi modules, open-source cloud platforms, databases, and implementing security and privacy measures for establishing connectivity between IIoT devices and cloud systems.
